Little Oaks Sandgate is situated between Folkestone Girls Grammar school and Sandgate Primary School, within close proximity to the coast and Folkestone West train station. It has the benefit of operating from a substantial character building, which has been renovated to a high standard offering a unique and exciting environment both indoors and outside. 

Close proximity to the coast and countryside allows regular access to beach / woodland sessions giving children the opportunity to engage and understand this wonderful resource. Supported by fully qualified and experienced woodland and coastal Rangers our children are not just taken on an outing but experience the outdoor classroom to its full benefit.

At Little Oaks Sandgate we aim to deliver high quality childcare that nurtures individual potential, providing a stimulating environment that extends beyond the classroom. 

Children are encouraged to gain a greater understanding of our natural environment and knowledge of nature with qualified, experienced practitioners who support the children on a journey of discovery encouraging a resilience of character that will support them in their individual learning and development. 

Children’s development and experiences are recorded using online software that is shared with parents via a secure app and encourages parents to input with family photos or days out .

Adventurers – Ready to enjoy the adventure of new surroundings 

The Adventurers Room is homely, light and airy environment where the children can enjoy the benefits of socialising regularly with other children and familiar adults with free flow access to a secure and inviting garden. 

Investigators – Developing independence and laying foundations on which to build. 

 Bespoke learning rooms to support exciting and stimulating learning experiences and plenty of opportunities to explore the local community and gain knowledge of the outdoor environment. 

Discovery Club – Breakfast/ After school/ Holidays 

We offer a wraparound service for children during term time through a breakfast club and after school club. During the school holidays we offer a holiday club for Primary school aged children, with plenty of exciting activities and experiences both within the setting and trips further afield. 

Breakfast and Afterschool club Includes drop off and pick up at Sandgate Primary School for Primary aged children.
