Explorers ( Eager to explore the world around them )
Babies and Toddlers
Here is where the journey starts with our youngest children. The Explorers have access to various sessions on each day of the week. The children are cared for in small groups with the aim to create a homely environment with the benefits of socialising regularly with other children. We have staff who are experienced practitioners who between them can draw on twenty five years of experience to ensure each child receives personalised care to meet their individual needs.
Adventurers ( Ready to enjoy the adventure of new surroundings )
Babies and Toddlers
Children become an adventurer when their parents and key person feel that they are developmentally ready both socially and physically. Children are allocated an individual key person who cares for them throughout the day in small family groups. Planning the day around the interests and flow of the child, rather than to a strict daily routine. Children have daily access to the inviting outdoor gardens that has been designed to offer exciting opportunities all year round.
Children join Investigators in the September before they start Primary School
Within this year, children have many opportunities to explore their local community and the outdoor environment through regular outings. For example, going to the local libary or experiencing beach school or woodland sessions. Depending on the location of the setting. We plan exciting and stimulating activities to ensure children are fully engaged and involved in their learning experiences. Whilst ensuring we deliver a comprehensive curriculum that covers all areas of learning within the EYFS. For example, Write dance and Jolly phonics give children skills in early literacy and children’s independence is promoted at every opportunity.
School Aged Children
We offer a wrap around service for school aged children in most settings. During term time through a breakfast club and after school club. During the holidays we run a holiday cub which offers children plenty of exciting activities both within the setting and trips further afield. The children attending have their own designated room which includes a chill out zone and plenty age appropriate resources.
